Installation & Use

• Battery securely attaches to the bike’s battery terminal and is locked into place with your ebike's included keys.
• The external battery has three settings: locked to the bike and on, locked to the bike and off, or unlocked and removable.
• Batteries come with a universal key that can be used to lock and unlock the battery to your ebike. Please note that universal keys are not unique to your ebike battery and may work with a variety of locks, including on other Rad ebikes. Universal keys do not offer the highest level of security compared to dedicated or unique key locks. We do not recommend leaving your battery affixed to your ebike in public unattended as it may pose a risk of battery theft.
